Drain Cleaning Service
Drain water is supposed to flow freely through drains and pipes. If the water slows or stops, there is a problem. Clogs can develop in any drain in your house.
There are clogs from grease and food in the kitchen sink, hair washing in the tub/shower, shaving in the bathroom lavatory, to flushing little toys by curious toddlers.
But before a clog completely closes your drain, you may notice the water draining more slowly.
Scum may build-up inside the pipes preventing water from draining properly. Water backing up through a floor drain is an indication of a blocked line.
Plumbing drains were originally designed with an “S” trap which has 180 degree curve followed by another 180 degree curve. The trap was designed to hold water in the curve thereby preventing sewer gas from entering the house. “S” traps have been replaced by “P” traps which consist of a 180 degree curve followed by a 90 degree curve.
