What is a Master Plumber?

There are 3 levels for plumbers: Apprentice, Journeyman, Master Plumber. The Master Plumber has applied for and passed an examination by his licensing state and completed the required number of years as a Journeyman Plumber.

Does it matter what kind of toilet tissue I used with a septic tank?

All toilet tissue will break down but the single ply will break down quicker.

Water pressure over 60 PSI can damage your home's pipes. A pressure reducing valve will regulate the pressure of the water flowing into the home. Excessive water pressure may void certain appliance warranties.

What is a plumbing vent?

Venting allows air to replace the water as it moves down through the drainage system.

What is a plumbing trap?

A trap is used to keep water in the pipe to block sewage gas from entering the house. Although there are millions of "S" traps in use, the "P" trap is more dependable and acceptable.

What is PVC?

Polyvinyl Chloride Piping is approved for only cold water.

What is CPVC?

Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride which is approved for cold water and hot water less than 140 degrees.
